Alice has been an absolutely exceptional caretaker for our cockapoo on numerous stays over the past three years. She has been diligent in ensuring our dog received her vet medication on time as it came due (flea treatments, worming) as well as ad hoc visits to the vets when any concerns arose, such as a sore paw or upset tummy. Alice would take our dog on daily long walks and couple it with behavioural training, would provide us with daily updates of our dog’s walks and activities including beautiful snapshots. Alice has also on numerous occasions taken our dog to her local groomer for upkeep, and has maintained the grooming routine throughout her stays. We would highly recommend her service to anyone who loves their pet, and will be returning time and time again ourselves!

Alice looks after my dog so well, I feel 100% confident leaving her with her. She is only 3kg but Alice makes sure play is fair for everyone - with lovely woodland walks and many lovely picture updates.

Our border collie recently had a 2-weeks stay with Alice at Dog Heaven. Everything was done so professionally from start to finish. What a wonderful location for the dogs to live and play in, surrounded by beautiful scenery, the whole stay was dog luxury! Alice would send photos and even video's of the dogs playing and the various walks they went on daily.
She even took him down to the coast for his first experience of the sea with her own dog Bodhi. The photos sent were worthy of a photographic competition and made our own holiday pics dull in comparison!
Alice is extremely professional and caring about the dogs, you couldn't have a better environment for them - the only worry is whether they'll want to come home again!
Thoroughly recommended, and we've already booked Boko in for a long weekend next week.

She is our first family dog and as such I was nervous about leaving her with anyone. I needn’t have worried as she had an amazing time at Alice’s. Alice takes full details about your dog to make sure she is fully informed and well prepared. As she was very young on her first visit she had her own “puppy” bedroom. Alice regularly sent updates and super photographs of her exploring and playing with Alice’s own dog. She has since stayed with Alice again and she is booked in for a another weekend over the summer. I know she will enjoy her holiday with Alice as much as we enjoy our break! I also know she is in great and very safe hands.

Alice is absolutely fantastic! She has taken such good care of my German shepherd dog. I always feel very comfortable leaving him and he is always so excited when he gets to go to hers. Alice takes the dogs on lovely long walks and has really helped with maintaining his long coat as well as his weight, which is no easy task! Thanks very much Alice :)

I can’t recommend Alice and what she does for your dogs highly enough.
I am the owner of a 4.5year old beagle and they’re not always easy or loved (pretty naughty at times) he just loved it and Alice made the whole 2 weeks such an easy choice.
Long and interesting walks, great dog handling, confidence, flexible and fantastic communicator.

Alice took such care of our 5month old collie puppy making sure she was secure, held and loved. Our pup really enjoyed herself and had the best time!! She’s been back 3 times! I would wholeheartedly recommend Dog Heaven for dogs whatever age and size.

My 7 month old Cavapoochon has stayed at Dog Heaven Horsley twice and clearly had such a wonderful time because he didn’t want to leave on both occasions! Alice makes sure she knows as much as possible about your dog before they go and stay and asks for any updates/changes on subsequent visits. Her attention to detail in ensuring her guests’ needs are all catered for is second to none. I trust her entirely.
Backing onto the most incredible woodland is why this place is dog heaven - the perfect playground for any treasured pet. Thanks Alice for creating this safe and happy place!

If you are looking for someone to take care of your dog whilst you are away then look no further.
Note I did say 'care' and not look after because that is exactly what Alice does... She will care for your loved one/s as if they were her own and give them the best doggy holiday they could wish for with a wonderful place to stay and lots an lots of woodland walks to enjoy and Bohdi the calm, patient and friendly resident dog.
Throughout their stay Alice also sends many lovely pictures of the fun they are having so you won't miss them too much!
Our boys are always delighted to see her and come back happy rested and fit.

Alice has looked after our young Great Dane and small dog a couple of times now and I can honestly say there is nothing I would change or that she could do better. She updates us with lots of photos, takes care of our dogs as though they were her own and most importantly is caring and professional. They also love their time with her and Bodhi (my very large dog’s new best friend).

We love our cockapoo. We would only ever leave her with someone we absolutely trust to care for her as well as we do. Luckily we have Alice.....she looks after Winnie amazingly and keeps us informed about how much fun Winnie is having. The only question is whether she prefers Alice's to home!

Our dog has had another fantastic stay with Alice and her lovely dogs. We felt bad leaving behind our beloved pet but were totally reassured he was having more fun than us on his daily walks with Alice and her dogs and lots of cuddles from Alice's family. We had lots of lovely photos and videos from the beautiful walks next to Alice's house. We know he was well cared for (even tucked into bed at night!) and came back in great spirits and very tired from all the fun he had enjoyed. He will be going back! Thank you again Alice!

We can’t recommend Alice highly enough. The dogs have plenty of space to run and play with access to road free great walks next door. Marvin always enjoys his time with Alice who clearly treats all the dogs as her own. So glad we have someone we can trust with our ‘M’

This was the first time our dog, had never been left with anyone, but I need not have been concerned. She had a lovely time staying with Alice and her two adorable dogs in perfect surroundings, a great sized garden to explore and fantastic walks on her doorstep. From the daily photos and videos Alice sent it was clear to see that our dog was having a fantastic holiday too and we used to look forward to receiving them. Alice obviously loves all dogs and has a lot of experience which quickly puts both owner and dog at ease. I would highly recommend. Thank you Alice

I have never left a dog with someone other than family before so was a little anxious. Alice was totally amazing. She loved Chester like her own and he had a fantastic holiday. Wonderful walks twice a day, fun time and down time, everything a young dog needs. Loads of love and cuddles and training along the way.

I couldn't have asked for a more loving home for him whilst we were away. I knew from the moment I met Alice that Chester was in the best hands.

After doing a lot of research and on site visits, we chose Dog Heaven Horsley Home Boarding for our Brittany who has no recall and who is quite a diva. Alice is a very knowledgeable, kind and patient person- and I knew she would be in very safe hands. Alice kept us posted throughout her stay with messages and photos of her activities. She had a wonderful holiday with Alice and was very well looked after and loved.

Her home really is Dog Heaven and Alice is so lovely and at one with the dogs!
I was a bit worried about leaving our puppy but all fears allayed immediately as both my girls were obviously very comfortable with their surroundings!

It’s obvious that our Cavapoo had a fabulous holiday with Alice, her gorgeous 2 dogs and another doggy guest over Christmas. We received lots of updates with photos/videos of him playing, cuddling and generally having a great time! Would highly recommend and definitely book again. Thank you Alice.

Alice is the most wonderful dog sitter you could hope to find - I was very nervous about leaving one of my dogs for a couple of weeks for the first time but she really put me at ease, largely because her love of dogs and considerable experience with them is so evident. If you want to know your dog is in safe, caring and experienced hands, this is the place to be. Alice has a beautiful home in the countryside which is purposely very dog friendly and has a huge garden, and is literally on the doorstep of beautiful, quiet walking trails. I can’t imagine a better environment for dogs, it really is lovely. Her two dogs are also an absolute pleasure, if I didn’t already have two I would have wanted to take them home with me! Alice looked after my rescue puppy, who is a sweetheart but nervous of everything and a big dog, so not easy to handle and needed someone not only experienced but empathetic to his needs. Knowing he was in such good hands allowed me to enjoy my holiday when I otherwise might not have done so. Alice sent me daily updates with photos and videos so I always felt comfortable that he was having a good holiday too - I was worried he wouldn’t want to come home! I honestly can’t think of a better place to leave your furry family while you are away, I feel very lucky to have found Alice and can’t recommend her highly enough!
